KAYAK & CANOE – Plenty of beautiful rivers and lakes in the area. Contact us for information on our favorite spots. Rentals are available in nearby Cranbrook.
BIKING - Bike rentals are available at the Platz. We are minutes from the start of the Rails to Trails (28k Kimberley to Cranbrook paved trail). Lots of back country biking trails.
WHITE WATER RAFTING & FLY FISHING – Tours available two houses down.
SKI & SNOWBOARD – Kimberley Alpine Resort is a five minute drive from the house. Local bus also available in the winter from the Platzl.
NORDIC SKIING – Kimberley Nordic Trails are seven minutes from the house. Equipment can be rented in town or up at the Trails. Tracked trails for classic cross-country and skate skiing. 3K track lit for night skiing.
GOLF - Seven excellent 18 hole golf courses within minutes from the homes.
SWIMMING - Lots of creek, rivers and lakes in the surrounding area. Wonderful public swimming pool nearby. Wasa Lake is 20 minutes from the house with a great beach for the kids.
